I am not a dining snob, and many times while road tripping in Florida I will stop at a local McDonald's for a couple of burgers and a side of fries.
There is only one McDonald's, however, that I consider also to be a Florida tourist attraction. It's the one in Orlando at the northwest corner of International Drive and Sand Lake Road.
The World's Largest Entertainment McDonald's, commonly known as Epic McD, is a standout attraction spanning an impressive 19,000 square feet.
This McDonald's is a must-visit for families exploring the area's renowned theme parks and culinary delights as well as locals looking for a nice spot to keep the kids and grandkids busy.
Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a modern and spacious interior. The expansive layout ensures that, even during busy times, there is ample space between tables and throughout the restaurant.
What sets this McDonald's apart is its extensive menu, offering a variety of unique options not typically found at other locations.
From pizza baked in a real oven to a selection of pastas, Philly cheesesteaks, waffles, and omelets, the choices are endless.
Guests can enjoy their meals on real plates, adding to the upscale fast-food experience. The customization doesn't stop at the main courses; even the burgers can be tailored to individual preferences.
Dessert lovers are in for a treat with a wide array of options, including delectable layer cakes and an elaborate ice cream bar.
Ordering is made convenient with large-screened kiosks that display the full menu, allowing customers to easily browse and select their favorites.
For families with children, the PlayPlace is a highlight. It features an extensive network of tubes and slides, a kid-sized hamster wheel, and over 100 arcade games, ranging from classic favorites like skee-ball to the latest releases.
Open 24/7, the World's Largest Entertainment McDonald's is a convenient and exciting destination for anyone curious about the largest McDonald's in the world or simply looking for a unique dining experience in Orlando.
