Splendid China was an attraction in Kissimmee that allowed visitors to experience the beauty and wonder of China without leaving the United States.

Splendid China was located at 3000 Splendid China Boulevard in Kissimmee, Florida, just a few miles from the Walt Disney World Resort.

The attraction opened its doors in 1993 and offered visitors a glimpse into the rich history and culture of China.

The park featured more than 60 miniature replicas of some of China's most famous landmarks, including the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, and the Terracotta Warriors.

Visitors to "Splendid China" could explore the miniature replicas on foot or on a train ride that traveled through the park.

The attraction also featured live shows that showcased Chinese music, dance, and acrobatics.

The park was a popular destination for families, and it provided a unique and educational experience for visitors of all ages.

Unfortunately, "Splendid China" closed its doors in 2003, after a decade of operation.

The park faced financial difficulties, as attendance declined in the wake of the 9/11 attacks and the growing popularity of other theme parks in the area.

Despite efforts to keep the park open, including the addition of new attractions and events, "Splendid China" was forced to close its doors for good.

The legacy of "Splendid China" lives on in the memories of those who visited the attraction, and it serves as a reminder of the changing nature of tourism and entertainment in Florida.
